Dr. Michael Harbison, D.C.

Chiropractic Physician

As Dr. Harbison was growing up in the small town of Quincy, Illinois, little did he know how the town’s and his family’s passion for the military would shape his future. He Was a natural athlete (unless it was baseball) who loved to be active. Growing up he always wanted to be a soldier or a doctor. Little did he know that his dream of being a soldier would lead him down a different path. He was an infantry soldier in the invasion of Iraq. That is where the change in his life happened. During the war, his lower back sustained its first injury, but it resolved itself. Then when he returned home from the war he attended Special Forces Assessment and Selection. He Made it to the very end of the selection before his lower back injury took him out. It was a re-injury of the previous one but this time was debilitating. He could hardly walk and the pain was just excruciating. He spent the next 3 years going to every doctor imaginable to try to get fixed. He had numerous tests and procedures done with no real answers. He was medically retired from the military in 2005. Finally, he decided to try chiropractic care after a 3-year battle with no help. Needless to say, Chiropractic gave him his life back and gave him a new calling and purpose. He then went to Logan College of Chiropractic. That is where he met his wife Dr.  Kristina Harbison. They both graduated in August of 2011 and opened their practice in Edwardsville Illinois. We owned our multidisciplinary clinic for 11 years and then decided we wanted warmer weather. So the opportunity came to move to Las Vegas and we did. We have 4 awesome children that range from 10 to 2 years old. Dr. Harbison wrestles for the Veterans Team USA and won a Bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships in Bulgaria.
